WHO certified on 27th March 2014 that 11 countries, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Timor-Leste, in Sout Asia has eradicated Polio.
